Dr. George Blessios reports outcomes from 65 consecutive VasQ-supported proximal ulnar arteriovenous fistulas (AVFs) compared with unsupported brachial and radial AVFs. The findings demonstrated 76.9% unassisted maturation, fewer interventions and surgical revisions, and no infections, steal syndrome, or device-related complications in the VasQ cohort, further supporting the role of extravascular support in promoting durable AVF maturation and reducing the need for reintervention.
